The creaking noise from the rear underside is getting louder as time goes by.
So, from now on, I plan to start replacing parts one by one, beginning with the more affordable ones.
For the first task, I decided to replace the stabilizer bushings, using a YouTube video from overseas as a reference.
The person in the video made it look so easy, so I tried to follow along exactly, but it turned out to be more difficult than I expected. In the end, I decided to go ahead with my own approach.
First, I removed the entire stabilizer to replace the rubber bushings, but that’s when the biggest issue arose. 😞
The parts I ordered online were wrong… I was supposed to get part number 23358, but instead, I received 23356.
Because of this, I struggled to fit the wrong parts, and even now, I’m still frustrated with the seller. Eventually, I contacted the seller and received the correct part two days later, so I could continue with the work.
However, when I was trying to install the stabilizer bar, the bolt threads got a little stripped, and it almost couldn’t be mounted… 😞
After all the challenges, I finally managed to get it installed!
The creaking sound is still there, but the car feels much more stable now.
